The ARTIMIST educational program strives to present art and artists in an accessible manner and thus it speaks not only for fans of art but also the general public.
It also offers cultivation of thinking about visual art issues and reflects current socio-cultural situation.

The cycle of documentary films entitled MANIFEST presents key Slovak and Czech artists – the founding figures of contemporary visual art from 1960 up to the present.

The cycle presents the generation of visual artists, many of whom were part of the alternative and non-official art scene and managed to radically influence the development of visual art in Czechoslovakia – with overlaps from painting to object through multimedia environments up to action art. Their inspirational works feature elements of contemporary international tendencies (Neo-avant-gardes, New Realism, Pop-Art, Kinetic Art, Conceptual Art, etc.) which has brought them success at home and abroad.
